these absent outer petals, they leave the illusion of loosening, a falling away. either they've been plucked off by the careless or have wilted away already--losing the life and energy of its core, and the poignance in detail... all of these alluded emotions only built to match the alienated quality of it the whole piece--having no real beginning or end; no foundation... just floating about, without direction, or a sense of ground to grow on.. it is an unfinished life; incomplete and yet already fading away..
